Where it all began
I have always been drawn to the arts, whether that be music, dance, theatre, fashion, anything that allowed me to create. But the moment I picked up a camera, I knew I had found something special: a way to hold onto moments, not just witness them. From then on, a camera rarely left my side. I was the kid asking her parents to pull over on the side of the road for a beautiful view, always looking to preserve the moments worth remembering.
My Why
I am deeply sentimental, to the point where I could spend hours looking through old photographs, even those from long before I was born. To this day, flipping through my parents' wedding album feels like stepping into a memory that isn't technically mine, and yet I feel as if I was there. That's the power of a photograph, and it's why I believe wedding and portrait photography matters so much. These moments are priceless, and they deserve to be preserved with real artistry and intention.
My Approach
On a wedding day, I bring a steady, grounded presence, guiding when it's helpful and then stepping back to let real moments unfold naturally. My goal is simple: to help you feel calm, comfortable, and completely at ease, trusting that your day is being captured well. I take genuine pride in getting to know my clients, so that by the time your wedding day arrives, I feel less like a hired photographer and more like a friend who happens to have a camera.
Beyond the Camera
Outside of photography, my faith is central to who I am. I strive to love others the way Jesus loves me, and that same care shapes how I show up for every client. I love chasing new adventures in my personal life and career, but am equally intentional about slowing down and being present in the small, ordinary moments along the way. Traveling somewhere new, gathering around a table with people I love over good food and better conversation, and unwinding with a good book and a record playing are just a few of my simple pleasures.
